Mission/Vision Statement
I am an advocate for the underdog, the environment, and for those who have lost their judicial voice with governmental agencies in rehabilitation and long-term care facilities. As an empath who cares deeply I offer my voice of change to assist those who suffer. I feel called to speak out for millions who suffer in places like this. Part of this involves facilitating workshops that emphasize cooperative effort focused on tapping into individual creative potential. I hope to inspire those who do not have spiritual strength, or ambition to defend themselves in times of crisis. My experience as a volunteer and political activist at the Oregon Zoo, Moveon.org, and Washington Public Interest Research Group (WASHPIRG) prepared me for taking on a public role in community politics. I hope to be a catalyst for change in my career, home, and public life by running for public office and being a new face for peaceful non-violent activism and

I am committed to environmental sustainability and solving human- environmental problems. I hope to create and develop an international nonprofit to explore relationships between humanity and the environment. I seek to be proactive in providing physical, emotional, and spiritual space for diverse groups to explore creative environmental solutions. Needs of corporations, governments, and the privileged few are in conflict with environmental needs. I hope to enter into the fields of Ecopsychology, and Environmental Science as a business creativity consultant and workshop facilitator. I want to create a nonprofit with a focus on creating a network of research centers used exclusively in research on the relationship of Humanity to Gaia in our communities. I seek to make my life's work an example of co creation and coexistence with essential life force everywhere.
It has been five years since I started Journey to Yourself. In that time I have undergone some major life changes. This web site is now exclusively made up of my initial personal blog. I have since created an ongoing blog at www.journeytoyourself.blogspot.com. I have recently added a new post here as of February 27, 2012. Please check it out and respond.

I am also a Certified Usui Reiki Master and will be starting a Reiki Circle in Southwest Washington. I am associated with the Washington/Oregon Reiki Healers meetup group.
In the last decade, my Journey to my Higher Soul, Spirit, or archetypal God Self has had many challenges, difficulties, and breakthroughs. I am currently studying for a Global Master's of Transpersonal Psychology degree with a dual specialization in Creativity and Innovation and Transformational Coaching from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology soon to be called Sofia University in Palo Alto, CA.
I invite you to join me in the quest to your own Journey to your Higher Soul, Spirit, or God Self. I have a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies combining Religion, Math/Science, and Psychology.
I have worked in multiple fields from software development and creation, Macintosh computer software sales, warehousing, landscape maintenance and supervision, credit card sales. Certified in both the States of Oregon and Washington for personal care and nursing assistance, I've worked in the health care industry since 2006. My Licenses are in Excellent Standing in both States.

I studied under Kate Mckee, a Shamanic Practitioner, Daniel Giamario, Founder of the non profit 501 3C Shamanic Astrology Mystery School based in Tuscon, AZ almost ten years. I hope to be a Certified Shamanic Astrology in Fall 2012.
After participating in shamanic breathwork I have been on some powerful shamanic inner journeys. I felt I connected with my Higher Soul, Spirit, or God Self.
I have recovered from a significant mental illness/spiritual emergency episode over the course of 30 years and have discovered that I truly care for the deserving underdogs of our Health Care System which include Elderly and Developmentally Disabled. I am glad that the health care reform bill was passed in 2010.
Religious, spiritual, and scientific prophecies are predicting that we are on the verge of a New Paradigm which may be associated with the Aquarian age Humanity is dawning today.
I believe the Tea Party efforts are essentially a retake on the GW Bush administration in the lost decade of the 2000's. With unemployment rates reaching levels close to those of the Depression of 1929 I feel for those out of work, as I myself am underemployed. And thus I will be representing Clark County, WA as a primary delegate to the Washington State Democratic Party Convention in June, 2012.

This movie focuses on the 99% you and I vs the Ruling privileged class 1% who seek to control all the resources of our nation, lands, and people. As a strong online activist I have signed multiple petitions to prevent further control by this ruling 1% ruling rich class and continue to be an influential online political activist.

Aum Mahni Padme Um.
One can achieve enlightenment by chanting this over and over in your meditation and daily activities and practices. It is said that this is the most powerful chant for achieving enlightenment in your life. One can reach Samadhi, or Nirvana, if you never chanted another mantra in your life, through this mantra alone as you focus on your Higher Soul Self, Spirit, or Archetypal God Self. Chanting this mantra continuously when you are feeling out of control can bring your physical, mental, ethereal, and emotional bodies back in balance in a manner of minutes. If you have no other practices than this you can reach enlightenment by the end of this life so it is said, by the great buddhist teachers of this millennia. So if you wish to just chant a mantra as you go through your life, this would be the mantra to chant. I have chanted this mantra and is has often been a great ally in bringing me back down to Earth and the physical plane. Try it, you might be surprised at the kind of results you get when chanting this mantra.
